Bricklane Eatery, Milnerton

Spotted a sponsored advert on Facebook for a restaurant around the corner from a friend’s house I frequently visit. We’re always on the lookout for new places to go so went to go take a look on Easter Sunday. It’s hidden away in one of the work complexes around Century City, so perfect for lunches or after work drinks.

Their menu is a treat with interesting hot chocolates and chilli poppers – my favourite! My marshmallow hot chocolate blew me away!

There is a small outdoor section for warm evenings, and a very cute play area for kids. I preferred the upstairs which has a long cozy table along the brick wall, and a balcony to take advantage of the beautiful view over the canal.

I found it difficult to understand the waitress as she was very soft spoken, but very sweet and efficient. The chilli poppers weren’t that great – it arrived cold, the chillies themselves had no flavour though the stuffing was very yummy. The menu however was great and I absolutely loved my hot chocolate.
